The final preparations for CBB 2016 are in full swing!
Nǐ hǎo from Shanghai! My world tour is continuing. I was in Johannesburg for food & drink technology Africa approx. four weeks ago. Now I’m in Shanghai, and the gates to CHINA BREW CHINA BEVERAGE (CBB) 2016 will open in a few hours. Until then, however, there is still a great deal of work for us to do.
Preparations are in full swing, and I in the middle of things. Contrary to in Africa, everything is a bit bigger here. The international area of CBB alone fills two complete halls on the site of the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). There are also seven other halls with national exhibitors. CBB is a really big thing, and there is much to see and explore.
That’s why I’m glad if I can occasionally rest on the shoulders of my colleagues. Speaking of colleagues: a particular highlight has been the meeting with our Chinese colleagues, as was already the case in Africa with our colleagues there. It’s always great when you can get know each other personally and share experiences after all the phone calls and e-mails. In addition, the colleagues pamper you with many different treats, something that I especially appreciate.
Of course drinktec is represented with an international drinktec booth at CBB, and we would be very pleased if you would stop by for a chat and a snack. Now I urgently need to get some sleep, so that I’m fit for the opening of CBB tomorrow. Good night and perhaps until tomorrow!
